In the dusty annals of classic rock history, Pink Floyd have secured their place as legend with a stellar five decade career that saw the band rise to the forefront of the psychedelic wave. Berklee alumnus and conductor Brent Havens returns to the St. Louis Symphony to lead the ensemble, as well as guest vocalist Randy Jackson, through a program celebrating the great heights of Pink Floyd, replete with laser light shows and a full rock band!
Overcoming drug-related line-up changes that resulted in the departure of founding frontman Syd Barett in 1968, bassist Roger Waters stepped up to lead the band through their finest achievements, namely the genre-defining albums The Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall. Combining epic, experimental rock soundscapes with philosophical lyrics, abstract art and surrealism, the band's myriad achievements have rightly earned their place in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
