Judas Priest

Why see Judas Priest?

Invisible Shield 2024 tour!

Judas Priest is heading out on an extra special tour in 2024 to celebrate their new album 'Invisible Shield', the first in six years! Recently celebrating their 50th anniversary, this tour will see the five-piece perform some of their greatest hits as well as new material. Judas Priest will be joined by fellow heavy-metal-ers Sabaton; you won't want to miss it!

Having rocketed to superstar status with the release of 1982's Screaming for Vengeance - which to this date remains the band's most successful album - the band are also noted for spawning the macho metal/biker look that is now commonplace for metal bands. And if anybody was in any doubt as to the depth of their status, in 2010, Priest were rated by MTV as the second "Greatest Metal Band" of all time after Black Sabbath. In 2017 Judas Priest were nominated to be inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, adding to the band's prestigious and famous status as one of the best Metal bands in the world.

Awesome show--amazing audience vibe

Scott Gorham's (Thin Lizzy) band BSR led off the night with some nice energy and a couple good tunes in addition to Jailbreak. Saxon came on next and basically blew the place away! These guys are real rock & rollers from England and altogether highly professional and entertaining. Some excellent songs off their new album in addition to Denim and Leather rocked the place. Played a very long set and the place was abuzz. Of course JP was the main event and they did not disappoint. The Tipton- sub guitarist was totally awesome. Halford hit high note after high note--ridiculous! Saints in Hell was probably the best song of the night amongst many. Seemed to slow down just a bit during 2nd encore but ended with a bang rendition of living after midnight. Place was singing along entire night. Band seemed genuinely impressed. Riverside is great place for a show. All in all a superb concert experience. ... Read more

The Priest is Back

Not short on Accolades'. Both Queensryche and Judas Priest showed the craft. They Rocked! and so did the audience. The venue is close and personal. Perfect for a music venue with not a bad seat in the house. ... Read more
