I have been listening to Bon iver for a few years now, and when I heard he was going to Toronto I knew I had to go. The lights were very cool and he had a different pattern of lights for each song which I really enjoyed. The sound was very well done. It was honestly an amazing concert if you are a big fan I definitely recommend going you will not be disappointed.

What? Did I see the same concert?

I've seen Bon Iver twice before and as like the two past shows I was completely hypnotized. They went on stage at 9pm and I had to leave by 10:20 because of early work schedule the next day. They had 4 songs left in the set when I left. The concert was absolutely amazing. A fantastic set list. They sounded amazing! I don't get all the complaints? It was a great night of fabulous music!

I love him but

The show it was only him in the middle of the stage and kind of what I expect, based on the album for Emma Forever Ago recorded in a cabin. But when looking at all the other video or stills of what he had been doing during the tour at previous shows it looked like full production blue lights people on stage. This was an absolutely pared-down raw Justin Vernon alone, so it surprised me. I still give it 5 stars because I absolutely adore him this music is amazing and he's totally tuned in and he's amazing but how it went from an absolute blowout to seeing him by himself was a little bit of a let down. I mean at this point the man has how many albums 7 that right and he's won a Grammy and I absolutely appreciate seeing him in a small venue still. I just surprised that it seems as though the rest of the band had just left him on his own to his own devices. Which are absolutely more than sufficient. Thank you Sir that was an amazing show, despite the Fanfare I guess.

First concert to see him. I was going to hear skinny love lol. I found out about him maybe couple of years ago. Late bloomer and had never heard of him til two years ago or so. My song ofcourse for me was Skinny Love. I enjoyed the show but my song was not played . Still a great show in my eyes. Great voice just disappointed I didn't hear Skinny Love . Great venue outside in Champions Square. Glad I went. I will have to listen to skinny love by myself lol ** oh and the seats I had were not even there so relocated up close to stage can't complain bout that!!!!

I was in town on business from "our hometown" of Eau Claire and wanted to see a show at the legendary Ryman. I've seen many shows there in the past and thought it would be fun to see someone I grew up with. What a letdown. First off, the whole "cabin" mythos needs to be exposed. The "cabin" is nicer than most homes 'cuz daddy is a sports arbitration lawyer. Second, I'm sorry Justin but you've let this whole thing go to your head. There's no bite left and your insistence on being referred to as an "artist" is showing. I remember the days when he lived for the music.

NOT GREAT

HIs show was only about 30 minutes long - which is ridiculous for the price paid for the tickets. His opening act was on the stage longer than him. He performed songs that were specifically made for the event - no songs were known by the audience. His voice is amazing, but unfortunately we did not get to hear it due to his autotune techno take on his music.
